Christmas is just a week away and New Years is right around the corner. For the most part we usually just hang at home and go a little more casual for New Years. However, this year we are heading to Nashville with my husbands family (all 22 of us)! We will be hanging out at the Gaylord Opryland Resort so I wanted to go a little more dressy for my NYE outfit ideas.

Metallic is a big trend this year right along with faux leather. Keep in mind, this blouse did need steamed, but I figured what’s the point since it will be rolled up and put in my suitcase. The smocked wrist on the sleeves give just a bit of added flair. I’m wearing my regular size extra small.

From the first time I saw this blouse, I knew I needed to try it. The mix of lace and faux leather is the perfect combination for a great NYE outfit idea. With this top you will definitely want to wear a high rise pant and personally when I flare out at the mid section, I like to keep it straight or skinny on bottom.
These jeans with the distressing make things fun. I’m 5’3″ and went with the regular length and think I could’ve done the petite to hit more at the ankle as the model shows online. Because it’s a raw hem, I’m just going to cut them so they hit exactly where I’d like!
