Summer means it’s time for BBQ’s. Not sure what to make and take? This easy taco dip recipe is always a crowd pleaser with my family! I love this recipe because it’s only 4 ingredients and I usually always have them on hand in the refrigerator. We often times even whip it up on Sunday afternoons I don’t feel like cooking dinner.

First off, if you don’t have one of these Fancy Panz carrying containers for foil pans you don’t know what you’re missing! No more taking side dishes in the car and worrying about the pans caving in while in route. They can be used with both hot and cold foods. The Fancy Panz come in different sizes. I have the 12.75 x 9, and there’s a 9×13 and 8×8 size also.

Ingredients for Easy Taco Dip Recipe

  • 2 blocks of cream cheese
  • 8 oz of sour cream
  • approx 8oz Ortega taco sauce (mild or medium)
  • 2 cups of mexican shredded cheese

Start by softening the cream cheese so it blends up easier. I use a hand mixer to mix. Start by mixing the cream cheese, then add the sour cream until blended. Last, add in the taco sauce and mix.

Pour into your pan and top with shredded cheese. You can always add more or less cheese due to preference. Chill for an hour and enjoy with your favorite tortilla chips!
