Joyful for Joyfolie

Being blessed with having a daughter (most days) I must say – I have the most fun shopping for her. I’m so thankful I lucked out and have an eight-year-old fashionista.  Madison’s always been the little girl that enjoys dressing more like mom rather than the little girl who looks like she fell from a crayon and glitter tornado. LOL

A few years ago right before closing my boutique (With three kids it was hard enough, with Madison’s start in modeling – impossibly to have the time.), I came across a girls clothing company Joyfolie. We both instantly fell in love with the boho chic style and especially their boots and sandals.

In all honesty I did get a bit sticker shock on the shoes at first. Up until about 5 years ago, I was lucky if I spent more than $100 on a pair of shoes. (Yes, my husband still wishes that were still the case) After splurging on her first pair of boots, we were goners! Tip- I size up in kids boots, they can wear thick socks and most times get two years out of them.

Joyfolie has always provided a look for Madison that has set her style apart. There’s never been an outfit she’s worn that hasn’t received tons of compliments. Whether she’s dressing for everyday, school or a special occasion.

This past spring we had the opportunity of going to Charleston, South Carolina where Madison did their SS17 photo shoot. I swear each season there’s more and more pieces we fall in love with. But what makes me love this brand even more. They keep their best sellers and staple pieces year after year. There are some shoes we never want her to grow out of and have ordered repeats when they’d gotten to small.  Joyfolie also offers some Mommy and Me matching pieces, which I love because this is where my little girl’s love of fashion stemmed from – dressing up like me. So while she still wants us to dress alike, we can, and I’ll revel in every moment of it. I know our days are numbered before she thinks she’s too cool to be seen in the same styles as her Mama!

  1. Oh my gosh! I don’t even have kids (6 nieces & 2 nephews though) and I love looking at all the stylish clothes they make now! Sometimes I feel like they have a nicer wardrobe than I do! lol

Oh my gosh isn’t that the truth?! I’ve always loved shopping for littles, way back to my first nephew 15 years ago

  2. I love the fashion and your daughter’s style! I have a daughter as well and she’s 2 years old now! She’s so cute. I can end up spending a lot of money on clothes and shoes for her, but I got a lot of stuff handed down to me by my sister. Great pictures!

It is so easy to buy for the kiddos, I always hold back on myself. Her little cousin gets all her hand me downs 🙂
