Finally! After the groundhog saw his shadow, we had our first decent snowfall that resulted in no school followed by sled riding and hot chocolate. Obviously an impromptu snow day would result in this mama needing a drink mid-afternoon hence #boozyhotchocolate.
I went with mixing something up with things I had on hand [that wasn’t wine].
I don’t have much liquor on hand, but I thought the idea sounded pretty good of drinking something that tastes like chocolate-covered raspberries. Andrew’s electric tea kettle I got him for Christmas came in handy to keep our water warm. Just mix the hot cocoa according to directions and add in a splash or two of raspberry rum and I’m able to sip on it all afternoon in my Yeti mug!
