Madison recently celebrated her 11th birthday and in order to bribe her to ride along with me to my post-op Lasik appointment, I told her I’d let her have a mini shopping spree at Nordstrom for her birthday. It all sounded like a great idea until we almost reached the mall (over an hour away) and realized I forgot my purse. 😂Thank goodness for electronics [apple pay and Starbucks app] so we didn’t starve and Nordstrom customer service so they were able to look up my account!
One thing this child reminded me of a time or two while shopping is that her style isn’t the same as mine. Hence the two different colored socks… just kidding, I often can’t match mine and they look like that too. 🤷♀️However, her choices of tees really made me proud. They both spoke something that I believe is important for young girls to remember!
Jeans are something we really struggle with for Madison. Tiny waist, and her legs are getting longer. She first tried the Treasure & Bond ones you see hanging, but they were super baggy. Thanks to the awesome sales associate for recommending giving these Tractr jeans a try because they fit like a glove!
We decided the jumpsuit was the perfect option for Easter. We usually attend sunrise service and it’s usually pretty chilly at 7am.
Even though I got some sass, I enjoyed our shopping day together. In all honesty, we hadn’t been out and about like that since the Nsale!
