Hello Spring! I don’t know about you but I’m officially ready for the wardrobe change. Jayden informed me yesterday morning that since it was the first day of spring, no jacket was needed for school. Sorry to disappoint there kiddo, but it was 25 degrees out yesterday morning!

Last night I was on dance duty and ran some errands (typical trip to Target and hit up Old Navy) and was in the mood to see what’s new out there for my spring wardrobe. I came across a few great pieces which did make it home with me, however, they’re still in the trunk of the car for me to sneak in the closet and when Andrew asks when I got “that” my reply is “it’s been in here forever”! Now, I know I’m not the only one that pulls that little prank. 😉

I grabbed some quick shots of a few pieces that caught my eye, but don’t mind the mirror smudges. It had more fingerprints than my dishwasher at home! Videos with a little more detail are also shared on my Instagram stories!

Sweater / Shorts / Jeans

Talk about feeling like the perfect spring daffodil in this sweater. It’s not overly heavy and has a great length to it. I’m wearing a size small for reference. Pairing it with shorts is perfect for the evenings that cool down a tad once the sun sets!

These white shorts give you the white without being see-through! Even though they are a 3″ inseam I still felt comfortable rocking them on this “mom bod”.

Shorts / Tee / Similar Jacket

Give me a pair of shorts with a stretch waistband and I’m ready for the summer cocktails. Whether pairing them with a basic tee and layering with my favorite denim jacket or using as a swimsuit coverup these will get a ton of wear all spring/summer. I’m wearing an XS and they left me great room through the bum and legs! These are also part of the $15 short sale.

Tunic / Jeans / Booties

I thought this tunic would be a great addition to my wardrobe for “meeting days” in my schedule. I grabbed an XS as shown here and it was a bit too tight through the shoulders and short on the arms. I think my sizing must’ve gotten a bit off or I’ve enjoyed way too much wine and junk this winter because most tops I needed to change from and XS to a S.

Dress

I loved the ruffle detail and length of this dress when I saw it hanging on the rack. It also came in an adorable yellow polka dot color! My favorite vanishing edge panties really proved their worth when I tried on this dress because I had NO panty lines visible with the cotton stretch of this dress!

Jeans / Cardigan / Tee

I’m not ready to fully give up my skinny jeans for the bootcut silhouette again, but this boyfriend cut is something I can definitely work with! I’m in a size 2 here and they truly fit great. No saggy bottom that sometimes comes with the boyfriend fit jeans and they had a fun paint splatter design toward the bottom. These basic tees are a hi-low cut and amazingly soft. I’m in an XS here and sized up to a S on my few that I brought home. This lightweight cardigan gives the perfect amount of pastel to your spring wardrobe.

Jumpsuit

I’m all over the jumpsuits this year. The long sleeves and cropped bottoms create the perfect combo for your days ranging from 50 to 75 degrees! I’m in an XS here and you can see it’s a tad tight across the chest that I was afraid to move too much and pop the snap at the cleavage so I swapped out for a S and brought this cutie home!

Sweatshirt / Shorts

It’s so hard to see in this picture but I’m referring to this sweatshirt as the speckled Easter egg sweatshirt. It was a super soft sweatshirt in an ivory color with speckles of all your favorite pastel colors. I’m in an XS here and again needed the S.

Aside from me being totally off with my top sizes, I loved these pieces to welcome in spring. You truly can’t beat Old Navy’s prices as they’ve really upped their game these past few years!

Happy spring, and happy shopping.
