Have you traveled to 30A before? It seems to be one of the most hoppin beach destinations and growing more each year. This year was our second time visiting the area so figuring out what all needed to be on my 30A packing list came a little easier this time. If you’re like me and handle most of the packing for your family, hopefully this helps you out a little.
When it comes to packing, I always start with the outfits first.
30a Packing List
A 30A packing list essential is definitely a maxi dress! Even though it’s long, it’s nice and lightweight to deal with that Florida heat and humidity. The adjustable straps make it easy to pair your favorite flat or heeled sandals.
When you think of a summer fabric, do you think of linen? I do! When we were ready for an easy casual night listening to music while the kids play games at The Hub, this was the perfect outfit!
Every 30A packing list needs a fun and frilly dress! I fell in love with the print of this one and ever snagged a top to match. This was perfect for dinner out at Old Florida Fish House (which we ate at twice).
Rompers are a favorite to pack for vacation. It’s like a dress… one full outfit with just one article of clothing! This one makes a great casual outfit with your favorite pair of Tory Burch Miller’s or add a block heel sandal to dress it up!
Other 30A Packing List Essentials
Snorkel Mask – These masks are a necessity for checking out the underwater wildlife.
Wine Glass – Keep your wine chilled and you won’t have the stainless steel taste! These glasses have a glass insert.
Sunglasses – Be sure to have a spare pair because the ocean is sure to take a pair while you’re there.
Speaker – There’s nothing better than listening to your favorite tunes with the waves crashing in the background.
Corkcicle – Glass bottles aren’t usually allowed on the beach, so this is perfect for taking your extra wine or drinks.
Swimsuits – If you’re going for a week, I recommend taking at least three suits.
Mineral Sunscreen – My dermatologist recommended recommended this one and said you don’t really need something over SPF30. Fortunately no one in our family suffered from any burns this year.
Portable Charger – If you’re playing music or reading a book on your phone it’s sure to die while at the beach. This one will re-charge by the sun.
Coverup – I prefer being covered when heading to the peach or pool.
Beach Bag – I make as little trips as I can while carrying things to the beach. I love the size of this one and the zipper enclosure.
Hat – I always wear a hat while at the beach. Especially while in the water. That water reflection can be brutal to your face and this will help.
Hopefully this 30A packing list has you all ready for your trip and gives you an idea of the necessities! Happy trip planning.
