Swimsuit season is sneaking up on us whether we like it or not. After a year of being home and eating and drinking more that I definitely should have, I wasn’t looking forward to trying anything on that isn’t leggings and a oversized sweatshirt. But, low and behold… I took one for the team to share a few new one piece and bikini swimsuits from Amazon.
Are you team one piece or two piece? I used to be a bikini girl all the way, however as I’m getting older I’m leaning to more coverage. It’s more of a mental thing… I guess I feel like as I’m older and the kids are older Mom shouldn’t be rocking her bikini bod [or her quarantine wine bod] as much. So, I found a few new suits to share with you all, some were awesome, and some not so much!
Bra Size: 34C Shirt Size: XS-S Bottom Size: XS-S
I am wearing a size small in all swimsuits shared here.
This swimsuit has been featured as part of the Amazon daily deals so many times. It’s how I first came across it. I loved that it was a one piece, but still kind of fun. My only complaint with the suit was that I’m wearing the small and I just felt that I didn’t have enough support through the shoulders. You know, like if I do an olympic dive in the pool they may not stay in place… #kiddingnotkidding. I’m typically a size small in swimsuits for reference.
Love, love love! I’m not sure I can say a whole lot more about this one. Yes, it’s got a deep V cut, but there’s awesome support on the shoulders, full coverage booty and a little ruching in the stomach. I don’t know any mama that’s not happy about a little ruching! This one fit perfectly and there are so many colors to choose from!
An oldie but a goodie, I had to share this one again. Awesome coverage with a fun one shoulder ruffle. There are so many colors and prints available in this highly loved swimsuit!
This suit was something different for me compared to previous styles I’ve always worn. I loved the one shoulder and full coverage bottoms. My only complaint with this one was that the band at the top of the bottoms folds over and I know anytime I’d get out of the water it would need adjusting or after sitting for a bit straightening it out.
Ahhh, I loved this one! The extra details on the top and bottoms, cute ruffle shoulders and pretty floral print. The only thing that has me a little on the fence is it’s not a full coverage bottom in the back. I wouldn’t call it cheeky, but it’s a little in between.
This one was good too! Even though it’s a two piece, with the ruffle at the bottom at the top it is definitely more modest. For me, the ruffle actually hit the top of my bottoms in the back. Cute smocked detail and removable straps!
It’s a two piece, not as much full coverage, but I still kinda digged it. I loved the different style top. I mean, yeah I may look like a zebra between my tata’s but I’m here for it!
I’ll be honest, when it comes to coverups I’m typically just a swing cotton dress thrown over my swimsuit. I’d definitely feel like a Greek Goddess walking around my pool picking up all the toys laying around though. If you’re looking for something different though and chic, you can’t go wrong with this under $25 option.
If you’re on the hunt for for some new swimwear, I hope this roundup helped you out. Seeing them in real life and not photoshopped on a model online definitely helps me! Happy swimwear shopping!
