Let’s just kick this off the right way by stating my review on these shorts didn’t take me to the gym. However, in my opinion running errands can often times be a bigger workout than the gym anyways. Finally after seeing these FP Movement athletic shorts all over TikTok I decided to give them a try.
I’m sure if you shop on Amazon frequently you’ve seen lots of dupes to the shorts. However, in my opinion when there’s just a $5-$10 price difference you might as well just try out the real deal.

SHORTS / TANK / SANDALS
When I started shopping around for the shorts I decided to go with a fun print if I’m going to give them a go. The coral, beige, and blue in these shorts truly caught my eye and screamed summer! I paired them with a basic white tank and a pair of gold sandals.

FP MOVEMENT LOOKALIKES
Keep in mind, I haven’t tried any of the lookalikes. For me personally, there wasn’t a big enough savings to make it worth not trying the real deal. However, it looks like they’ve gotten them mastered rather well.

Sizing Tips for FP Movement Athletic Shorts
I suggest going up from your regular size. I’m typically an extra small, especially with Free People however went up to a small and am so glad I did.
The wide waistband definitely gives some compression and I had no issues with them riding down or up all day while out and about.
Now, they are a tad shorter than what I’m used to so I’m glad they do have the liner underneath so your guchies won’t show if you’re bending over. 😉
All in all, I give them a thumbs up. Do I see the need to buy them in every single color or print? No, but that’s because I don’t wear a ton of athletic wear to begin with. My thoughts? Just skip out on a Starbuck’s run once and splurge on the real deal…
What I had to say in the moment about the FP Movement athletic shorts…
If you’ve given them a try or a dupe version, let me know in the comments your thoughts.
