Yes, I’m a woman, and yes I love football! It’s honestly safe to say that I’m the bigger football fan over Andrew. Thank goodness I have boys who love playing and watching the game because it’s truly the one thing I can bond with them over.

In our house we bleed black and gold [Steelers] and blue and gold [Pioneers]. So, anytime we’re home to watch a football game I’m on snack duty. Aside from my Buffalo Chicken Dip [that I’ll share in a bit] the most loved football snacks around here are Fire Crackers. A friend of mine made these before Christmas and I instantly knew Andrew would love them. Even though they have a little bit of a kick, I was shocked when all the kids loved these easy football snacks too! There’s a little bit of a bite, but nothing they can’t handle.

Tailgating in the rain isn’t much, but we bring snacks.

Fire Crackers go well with beer or water, no matter the age! Most recipes just call for saltine crackers, however, I changed it up a bit to be more family-friendly.

Easy Football Snacks: Fire Crackers Recipe

1 box of mini saltine crackers

3/4 box of Reduced Fat Cheeze It Crackers

1 bag of mini pretzels

1 C canola or vegetable oil

3 T Rance dressing seasoning (1 envelope)

3 T Crushed Red Pepper Flakes

2 tsp garlic powder.

Mix seasonings and oil then pour over crackers/pretzels. Place the lid over mix and shake about every 5 minutes until absorbed. Store in airtight container.

I’ve been told a time or two that my Buffalo Chicken Dip was the best. It’s even Madison’s favorite dip which says a lot! I shared my famous recipe a few months ago since it’s always a crowd favorite over the summer!

Even though our game went in to OT Sunday, I’m still giving our Steelers the benefit of the doubt. [Hello, we finished the game with a 3rd string QB.] I’m just going to stay strong and continue to eat these easy football snacks, drink my beer and wave the terrible towel!

I’m a stay at home mom of three kiddos, and wife to my high school sweetheart. I’ve always had a love for fashion and styles that you won’t find on just anybody. Follow me on this journey so I can share with you all of my favorite things!
