I don’t know when boo baskets became a thing, but I am fully on board with an excuse to fill a basket with cozy fall things and snacks. These boo basket ideas for her are a mix of things that feel fun for the season and things she’ll actually use. Think pumpkin treats, coffee, something cozy, a little self-care and, obviously, chocolate.
This would be such a cute surprise for a daughter, college student, friend, sister, teacher, or really anyone who deserves a little fall pick-me-up. And the best part is that there’s no right way to make one. Pick a few things you know she’ll love, tuck them into a basket, and suddenly you’ve made someone’s entire day.
What I Put in My Boo Basket
I wanted this one to feel more cozy fall night than straight-up Halloween, so I started with a soft chenille throw and built everything around it. Then came the important stuff: something sweet, something salty, coffee, a fall drink, a candle and a few beauty and self-care treats.
I also love mixing inexpensive grocery-store finds with a couple of things that feel a little more special. You absolutely do not need every item to coordinate or come from the same place. In fact, I think a basket filled with someone’s actual favorite things is much better than one that was chosen just because everything matches.
If you’re trying to come up with your own boo basket ideas for her, use this as your starting point. Add a cozy item, her favorite snacks, something to sip, a little beauty or self-care treat and one or two things that scream fall. Mine ended up with pumpkin brownies, Reese’s, Cheez-Its, caramel coffee, a fall candle, bath soak, lip gloss, eye masks, body butter and a few other treats.
