Sometimes it’s the smallest things that make an outfit feel new again. You don’t necessarily need another sweater or pair of jeans. A great bag, scarf, belt or a little gold jewelry can completely change the basics already hanging in your closet. These fall accessories for women are an easy way to bring in the colors and textures of the season without buying an entirely new wardrobe.
Fall Accessories for Women That Make a Difference
The outfit above is a perfect example. A white tee and wide leg jeans couldn’t be simpler, but adding a printed scarf at the waist, layered gold necklaces and brown shoes changes the whole thing. It feels like fall without requiring a sweater, jacket or six layers when the weather is still figuring itself out.
This woven brown bag is one of those pieces that can make even jeans and a tee feel more finished. I love the texture for fall, and the gold hardware works perfectly with all of the jewelry I’ve been reaching for lately.
A plaid scarf is another easy one because it brings in those fall colors without committing your entire outfit to them. And a good belt is one of those things I forget about until I put one on and immediately wonder why I don’t wear belts more often.
Then there’s the jewelry. Gold hoops, chunky earrings, bracelets and simple pieces you can layer are probably the easiest way to change up outfits you’ve already worn a dozen times.

This is probably why I love accessories so much. You can wear the same white tee and denim you’ve had forever, swap the shoes, add a scarf and some jewelry, and suddenly the outfit feels completely different.
It’s also an easy way to transition your wardrobe into fall when it’s technically fall on the calendar but still way too warm outside for the outfits Pinterest thinks we should be wearing.
You don’t have to overhaul your closet every season. Sometimes a new bag, a pretty scarf and a really good pair of earrings are enough.
