Today I headed out to wrap up my Christmas shopping and grab a few outfits for my aunt that would be appropriate for work and school trips. Obviously Express would be a great spot to grab those pieces and not make her look like a teacher going through a mid-life crisis heading to school. 😉
As soon as I walked in and saw the store was 50% off I couldn’t pass up grabbing a few things for myself and doing a quick try on.
Often times these types of sweaters tend to be a little itchy, but this one wasn’t one bit! It’s definitely oversized and perfect for leggings. I’m wearing the XS and it was still plenty loose.
I’m sure you’ve seen my typical #ootd photos and that I much prefer comfy clothes. These joggers will be perfect for heading into spring [trying to be ahead of the game] because they’re lighter weight.
I’ll start off with the jeans, they are a little more stiff than I prefer, but definitely a great dark wash for date night! This sweater on the hanger looked like it was going to show off a lot more than it actually does and I absolutely loved it on [and brought it home]! It does have a V in the back, however no issues with undergarments showing. Even if the front V-neck is a little much for you, you could definitely pair it with a cami.
So I have yet to try a pair of the super pricey Lulu leggings, but if I could imagine what they felt like for that price tag it would be like these. These were honest to goodness buttery soft. I had no problem bringing these home with me!
I loved this blouse so much on the hanger between the blush pink and just the feminine appearance however when I put it on, it just didn’t work for me. It showed every line good or bad underneath. I loved the lines on these jeans for spring, but they aren’t online yet that I’ve seen.
I love a good flannel, especially when it’s long enough to wear with leggings! I was pretty partial to the colors in this one and can’t wait to wear it a time or two. I did size up to a small here to accommodate my shoulder issue I usually have.
You know that super soft brushed plush material? Well, that’s what this is made out of. Then add in the fun snakeskin pattern and I was sold!
These were just a few fun pieces I snagged up to try while wrapping up my Christmas shopping today. Take advantage of some new favorites like I did since everything is 50% off!
