Have you been a little green with envy over all the green jackets this fall? Whether it’s a military-style, bomber, leopard or camo I’m having a hard time not adding to cart. With each of these jacket styles, they’re perfect for adding an extra layer when you’re needing to deal with true fall weather. You know, when you’re scraping frost off your windshield in the morning, have your ac on and sunroof open by 2pm and your heated seats on at 8pm. Or is that just Pennsylvania fall that makes these types of jackets what I need to get through?

Aside from being a great extra layer, just by changing up your bottoms you can go from leggings, a long tee, jacket and sneakers to your favorite jeans that work wonders for the ole peach, booties and a fall hat that looks stylish but covers up that 3-day old hair. It’s all about compromise over here.

Jacket / Jeans / Sandals – new style

This military-style jacket was my first love when shopping the Nordstrom anniversary sale. I haven’t seen it marked down again so far, but as soon as it is, I’d snag it up. There’s not been one time I’ve worn it that I’ve not been complimented! I’m wearing an XS and it still has enough room to pair with a sweater this winter.

I’ve been a little more on the reserved side with all the camo, because I’ve worried if I had too much of it my guys may expect me to go hunting with them. It’s just not my thing… I’ll stay home, make them cookies and watch Hallmark while they’re out. A similar style of this jacket sold out last year during the anniversary sale.

Oh, this bomber jacket… it gave me all the 😻 when I first saw it. It was definitely a bit of a splurge, however it was so unlike anything else in my closet I just had to go for it! I wore it out on a dreary day the other day and it even shed the water well.

This one was a tough call for me. That little touch of leopard was a total hook, line, and sinker! I felt for still being the casual style jacket, that added touch of leopard and black velvet really took it up a notch. I’m wearing the XS and it was just a bit too tight in the shoulders for me. That’s a common issue for me and I should’ve known better.

These are my favorites that I’ve come across and I’m sure before fall and winter are over there may be a few more. It’s just a great layering piece to go over all your favorite outfits.
