A scarf… probably the most popular accessory for the fall and winter season. But, there are so many to choose from. You have the blanket scarf, standard scarf, infinity scarf… there’s just so many to choices. What else comes with the many types of scarves? The multiple ways to style them without making yourself look like you no longer have a neck. C’mon, we’ve all looked in the mirror before when throwing on that big blanket scarf so we look cute heading to the pumpkin patch and felt that way.
I think my favorite scarf style is the blanket scarf. Just because there are so many ways you can change up the look!
I’ve actually had this scarf for years and still love it! Such a pretty plaid that can be worn all fall and through the holidays! Fold it in half and wear as a traditional scarf for something easy or follow these steps for the cute style on the left.
- Fold diagonal.
- Place it like a baby bib with a point in the front.
- Wrap two ends around your neck.
- Tuck loose ends under your “bib” in the front.
This leopard scarf is new and a little different than a thick winter blanket scarf. Even though it has the same size the thickness isn’t there. However, being a quick find from Amazon, I was shocked at how soft and what nice quality it was!
You can easily wear it as a traditional scarf, or as I showed above with the plaid scarf. I like it best just wearing over the shoulders almost as a wrap. Add a belt for some extra fun!
When the weather starts to get a little frightful, give me something that looks cute but will keep me warm too! Since I have plaid and animal print in my scarf collection, why don’t we add camo too? I snagged this under $40 scarf from Evereve and love it!
There’s not much width to this scarf but they make up for it in extra length. Wear it long, or give it a little wrap on one side for a Hollywood flair.
Here’s to keeping warm but still looking cute! 😉
