I’m pretty sure if you’ve been checking out the new arrivals from your favorite stores you’re going to notice a pretty recurring trend… Leopard print. I’ll be honest, I bought my first leopard mules and booties last winter and I’ve been slowly adding to my collection ever since. Some may think it’s hard to style an animal print but in all reality I just treat it as a neutral and it can literally go with ANYTHING! Leopard print shoes? Pair them with your favorite dresses or tops with jeans. Leopard print top? Pair it with a basic bottom and don’t be afraid of a pop of color shoe. Leopard print handbag? Just pretend it’s your everyday black purse that you wear with everything. It’s truly that easy to add a little bit of spice to your wardrobe. Now, when I say it’s a neutral and can go with everything, don’t turn into my 11 year old son and turn yourself into a full on cheetah. I’m not sure why, but when I tell him it’s a neutral he thinks that means he needs to match the same color from head to toe. He still has a lot to learn and my goal is he’ll understand it before he leaves for college.
So, if you’ve been on the fence of thinking you should maybe add some leopard print in your life (beyond the underwear you break out for special occasions) this is the time to do it. Because you have so many styles to choose from, and especially at great price points. If you’ve just crossing over to the dark side, start with a pair of shoes. If you’re like me and ready to go a bit further let’s check out some tops or bags. Check out some of my favorite styles below and how I’m styling them!
Check out some of my girlfriends in their leopard love!
