Mother’s Day is right around the corner. Do you know what you want? Here’s a Mother’s Day Gift Guide that shows a few things that this mom really wants. I’m not afraid of feeling like I need to sugar coat it and I’m putting my feelings out there. This past year has definitely put my mothering skills to the test. There have been so many curve balls thrown at us like becoming a teacher when we didn’t go to school to be one for multiple grades at once, improving our chef skills because we were eating at home a lot more often and just in general the ringmaster of the crazy circus. Or, if your house was like mine it was a shit show at times.

I love my children with every breath of my being, and am so thankful they are who made me a mother, but I’d also be thrilled if on Mother’s Day I had breakfast with bottomless mimosas and the house all to myself for 24 hours. I honestly don’t even care if it’s a clean house at this point! LOL I know there’s a chance that I won’t get that, so here are some other things that would be at the top of my list.

Mother’s Day Gift Guide: What Mom Really Wants

Bath Caddy – Every once in awhile I just want to soak in a bath and let the troubles go away.

Facial Steamer – Up your skincare game and open those pores up. The older this mom gets the more she knows she needs to take care of her skin!

Sleep Mist – A mix of chamomile and lavender. Add it to your pillow and be ready for a great night sleep!

Candle – I took the plunge on the volcano candles and can’t go back! Currently 20% off.

Silk Pillowcase – I know it’s hard to believe, but these pillowcases will make a world of difference with your hair and skin. I have less bedhead and breakouts thanks to this! Less expensive versions can be found on Amazon, but I can’t vouch for them.

Soap & Lotion Set – Bringing that volcano candle scent further to soaps and lotions.

Bath Salts Set – Perfect to go along with your relaxing bath. And it’s wine themed!

Coffee Cup – These coffee cups make a great gift and look so pretty while you’re enjoying your morning cup of joe. Just don’t put it in the microwave to reheat your morning cup of coffee three times before finishing it.

Name Necklace – I’ve had this necklace for a few years now and love it for my everyday jewelry.

Silk Scrunchies – Santa, or Mrs Claus put these in my stocking this year and they’re pretty sweet!

Cheese Plate – I’ve been in love with these cheese plates for a few years now. The stone is absolutely beautiful! Be sure to check out the other colors and they’re 20% off.

Wine – Every mom could stand to have wine delivered to her door every month. I can say this is good and 50% off when you order 4 bottles.

Kindle – Grab your wine and enjoy a new book by the pool. The new Kindle paperwhite is now waterproof!

Wine Tumbler – Tumblers like this are perfect for summer days and keeping your wine cool. The only downfall with tumblers is sometimes getting a metal taste with your wine. This one is special… it has a glass insert so there’s no metal wine taste!

Wine Cooler – Keep that wine cool to pour in your new tumbler.

So if you can’t tell, this year I’m all for wine and just being comfy at home. Maybe, by myself. Although, if my family would want to send me to Nemacolin Woodlands for the weekend, I wouldn’t mind one bit.

I hope you found some Mother’s Day gift idea inspiration for yourself or to give to your mom. But most of all, have a Happy Mother’s Day!
