In the summer I try to give myself a little more grace when it comes to a work/relaxation balance. This year on vacation I was strict with my work time and only allowed myself to work for about two hours in the morning before heading down to the beach. That way, I could be more present with family and friends while enjoying the white sand and clear blue water and finally cross a few books off my summer reading list.

Reminders of Him by Colleen Hoover, kindle books, my summer reading list

I was excited to read Reminders of Him by Colleen Hoover while on vacation. I’ve read a few of Colleen’s books and really like them. This one I would consider one of her “lighter” reads which made it perfect for a vacation read.

While reading on vacation or by the pool, I always prefer to read on my Kindle Paperwhite. You can store so many books on that little device so it makes packing much easier. Another thing I like about reading on my Kindle near water is the little splashes aren’t going to hurt it as it would a paper book.
