Last week we were in Vegas for 5 days for the ConExpo Show. It’s the World Construction Show that travels the world each year and comes to Las Vegas every three years. My husband Andrew’s family started their construction company over 50 years ago and this was our fourth time attending the ConExpo. I always picking out outfits for Vegas because it’s my chance to wear fun looks I wouldn’t get to wear back around home.

I may be the odd one, but when traveling I love wearing a jumpsuit. They’re always comfortable, and going to the bathroom in the airplane restroom really isn’t all that bad. I just leave my jacket at my seat.

Our first full day in Vegas consisted of lots of walking at the ConExpo. They say when you cover the entire area it’s over 20 miles of walking! With all that walking I learned that my back must be out of alignment because my hip hurt so bad by the end of the day I ended up going for a massage at the Bellagio on our second day to recoup.

BLAZER / TEE / JEANS / SNEAKERS

In my eyes, you can’t ever go wrong with a graphic tee and blazer. It’s my go to for a casual outfit without looking too laid back.

We were heading home and I swapped my jumpsuit for a pair of joggers. The funny thing is when we got home Madison told me she swore I wore this outfit every time we fly. Joke was on her because this was the first I wore these joggers outside of the house. LOL

Apparently I slacked off with some of my daily outfits because I also did my white jeans, black tee and pink blazer.

When I’m packing for trips like this, I arrange my outfits to mix and match my pieces for day and night so I don’t need to pack as many clothes overall.

I decided to hit our first night off with a bang in Vegas. Funny story though, I accidentally ordered my bodysuits in a size extra small which I always go up to a small for more comfort. With my sizing mishap, it went on perfectly but I needed some assistance from my sister in law taking it off. LOL

These heels were a birthday gift that I got in Vegas. Andrew bought me my first pair of Louboutins when we were in NYC on a modeling trip with Madison. They looked so so pretty, but were so uncomfortable. I hadn’t had a pair nude heels for years so when we were shopping at the Forum Shops Christian Louboutin was my first stop. Well, the first pair I put on were an instant no and I was ready to walk out the door. I noticed these had an asymmetrical toe-line and decided to give them a try. Oh my goodness, world of difference and I wore them the entire rest of the trip. Including when we went to the Piano Bar at Paris and unfortunately as soon as you walk in the door of the hotel there’s a grate and my heels got stuck in them.

When I say they got stuck, I mean I couldn’t move and people just stood there in awe. Unfortunately, it nicked up my new heels but my awesome hairdresser in Pittsburgh referred me to someone to fix them. Thank goodness, because I’ll be wearing them for the next 10 years at least!

It was our last evening in Vegas and my feet were tired. It was time I just relied on my trusty Tory Burch Miller sandals to get me through. We traveled down to the Mirage for dinner and had a fantastic meal at Tom Colicchio’s Heritage Steakhouse. In case you hadn’t heard, Hard Rock bought the Miarge and they’ll be tearing down the volcano this year.

That was the end of my Vegas outfits. I enjoy being comfortable during the day and going more outside my comfort zone at night. Which of my outfits for Vegas are your favorite? Let me know below!
