FINALLY! Weather in southwest PA has finally caught up with mother nature in realizing it’s fall. Up until recently it’s been bouncing back and forth between mid 70’s (kids were riding bikes in shorts last weekend) then down to the 50’s this week. I feel it’s finally safe to convert to my fall/winter wardrobe.
I’m a little particular with my sweaters. I like to be cozy and warm, but by the time I add on a jacket in the dead of winter I’m roasting more than a Thanksgiving turkey. So, I like find that middle ground of cozy and comfy, and not sweating to death.
What’s even better than finding that perfect middle ground with your sweaters if finding them on sale. I’ve done pretty well with my sweater sales this year. My favorites have been picked up from Nordstrom, Express, Abercrombie & Fitch and even QVC!
When washing my sweaters I always wash on delicate, throw them in the dryer on air dry for about 10 minutes then hang to finish drying. That may not be the Good Housekeeping directions, but so far I haven’t shrunk or ruined anything.
Check out the different sweater styles I’ve fallen in love with this fall.
