I know I don’t look it [cough, cough], but being the mom of a tween girl [12 years old] can make shopping for swimsuits make me want to pull my hair out. It’s that age where there’s a gap between little girl suits and looking like a 20 year old on spring break. It’s hard to find that happy medium.
Well, I turned Madison loose on Amazon and had her check through the hundreds of pages of girls swimsuits and pick which styles were her favorite. This may help you out when shopping for your daughter and have a little less fight.

Madison usually gravitates toward two-piece suits, so I was surprised when she picked out a handful of full-piece. I guess my girl likes options in her closet like her Mama!

Sizing Tips
Swimsuit sizing can always be a struggle. My rule of thumb, especially with Madison is to order a size smaller in two-pieces than she wears in regular clothing. That way everything fits snug and is sure to stay in place when doing her epic cannonball in the pool! With full-piece suits, we go with her regular size so she isn’t walking around with a constant wedgie. 😉
