We are at that in-between phase of all of the Christmas decor is put away, but it’s not nice enough outside yet to spend much time out there. Well, when I’m in the house all the time looking around I get the itch to do some updates. One of the easiest ways to make an update to a room is with an area rug. What’s great is a lot of times it’s pretty inexpensive too. I’m sharing with you some of my favorite area rugs from Amazon for the home.

This washable runner is perfect for in front of our doorway. I was looking for a pretty neutral tone and something light against our hardwood floor.

Don’t mind that dirty grout. As I talked about in my Amazon Live, that was a mistake I made as a young homebuilder. Take it from me, don’t every do white grout in high traffic areas! Since my kitchen and back door are near each other, I stuck with the same print rug. Also, you can’t go wrong with a washable rug in the kitchen.

Now, as I’m mentioning washable rugs, don’t let that scare you. These don’t have the same price tag as Ruggable fortunately!

I recently got this rug for my bedroom and LOVE it! The colors are perfect for that neutral / moody vibe, plus it has a great padding/feel to it. I was very impressed with this rug. I have the 9×12 size under my king size bed for a perfect fit.

This was my old rug I used to keep in the kitchen. When looking for a more modern style this is a great route to go. Plus, you truly can’t go wrong with the Safavieh brand for anything home related.

At the end of last summer I added this patio set to our porch. I knew I needed a rug for the space and love the colors in this one. I’ll add some navy and coral pillows to the sofa to tie everything in perfectly!
