Well, today is Thursday and I’m sharing with you some goodies I tried on at my first Target visit for the new year. Say what?? Yep, I hadn’t been to Target since Christmas. [We basically hibernated all Christmas break while the kids were off.] I found some great cuties to help me start thinking spring. Believe it or not, I finally did videos during my try on session and shared them over on my Instagram stories. [Go HERE] to check them out. Go easy on this girl though, you honestly have no idea how scared she is being in front of a camera. I have no idea how I did it, but I committed and went in, even without a glass of wine! Check out my favorites and sizing recommendations below.
I’m a huge Free People fan and this Knox Rose brand from Target is such an amazing look-alike for just a fraction of the cost. I loved the colors in this top along with the sleeve detail. I’m wearing an XS for reference and the oversize fit is perfect.
I’m a sucker for a good plaid top! Change up the style a little with a mock wrap style and laces and it’s a winner in my book. I’m wearing an XS here and would need to size up to a S due to my shoulders being a little tight.
Obviously, this definitely came home with me. I’m such a sucker for a cute hoodie. Probably because I’m home most of the time and when I do go out it’s due to running the kids to after-school activities. These jeans were a hit for me. They have a tacked cuff, but I did give them an extra roll. Online they’re available in a short and that’s what I’d go with since I’m 5’3″.
If you’ve been following for a bit you’ll see that I’ve been sharing a similar thermal from Amazon. This one offers a fun alternative because it has lace inset in the back. There was also a pretty red color available. I’m wearing an XS here and would go ahead and bump up to a Small due to the shoulders being a tad tight and it hit me a little higher than I prefer in the front.
Another fun Free People alternative here. I love a good olive color as it can truly be worn all year. It makes you think fall, but also looks great with a summer bronze. Great length and makes it easy to change things up with a little front tuck if you want.
First off this tee! I swear it’s as smooth and soft as a baby’s butt. [Mama’s you know what I’m talking about!] The downside, I haven’t seen it online yet but will keep checking. This shawl is a great piece to throw on over your favorite tees this spring or even a sweater to add some layers and dimension to your look. This backpack is such a pretty cross between a blush and a taupe. It’s the perfect size to carry your “mom necessities”.
I had fun doing a little try on session, be sure to let me know if it was helpful or if you grab any new arrivals share your favorites over on my Group Page.
