The temperatures have started dropping which means sweater weather is here. Now, I’m not sure about you, but most of my sweaters need to be cuffed, or I end up pulling the sleeves up. If you didn’t know, there’s a trick to cuffing your sleeves so that they don’t look like you’re wearing a big bulky scrunchy around your wrist. Lucky for you, I’m here to share how to cuff your sweater sleeves this fall and winter!
Key Points for How to Cuff Your Sweater Sleeves
- Fabric Matters. If It’s a silky soft material or cuffs aren’t ribbed, they won’t hold as well.
- Less is more. You don’t want to have big bulky rolls on your wrists.
- If they aren’t identical, don’t stress.
It really is that simple! Just start on the inside of your wrist. I usually roll it twice on the inside which gives it an asymmetrical appearance by rolling the outside only once. By cuffing your sleeves this way you can still show off your favorite watch or bracelets!
I hope this little fashion hack helped give you a little inspiration for wearing all of your favorite sweaters this fall and winter. Let me know below if you try it out and how you like cuffing your sleeves.
