I’m going to be completely up front with you on something. When I first started noticing all the pom poms and tassels on all of this springs best sellers I really wasn’t sure what to thing. First impression, it made me think of my Grandma’s curtains she used to let me practice ironing a good 25 years ago. Yes, back then I enjoyed ironing and would even iron all her hankies and wash cloths. What the hell was wrong with me?! Currently, I don’t even own an iron. It either gets thrown in the dryer on steam cycle or I use my garment steamer. To me, best thing ever invented! No more creases for this Suzy Homemaker!
Sorry, I got a little off track. Back to the tassels and poms. Like I said, I wasn’t overly crazy with them. Then a few weeks ago I saw Sam Edelman featured on Hautelook. Of course I HAD to check out what good deals they had going on. I couldn’t believe it, but when I scrolled past these sandals, I LOVED them! I felt they’d be so cute with shorts and a plain summer top. They give that extra pop on your feet instead of elsewhere.
Hmm, maybe it’s really not that bad when you wear it the right way. Now I’m not saying I love everything I see out there with the poms or tassels, but I do find myself being more open.
