It has literally taken me every bit of 12 hours and possibly a bottle of wine, but I have narrowed down my top picks for the whole family from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Today (7/12) starts early access online for all card members and I’m giving them about 20 minutes until the site crashes for the first time. I tried to make sure I had my absolute favorites checked out this morning before they’re all gone this afternoon! Enough chit chat, let’s get to the good stuff.
I’m a sucker for booties if you can’t tell. This year the snakeskin print is saying “Move over leopard, I’m coming for ya!” The Steve Madden flats are going to sell out in a hot minute so grab them first! Second up will be the Steve Madden booties and the Vince Camuto sandals.
Whether you’re ready to try the return of the flare, stick to slim and skinny or the Dad Jean (size down one) there’s definitely an option for you!
The similar BP leopard cardigan sold out in a flash last year so I predict it and and Madewell colorblock cardigans to go first. I wore the Gibson convertible tunic sweaters on constant repeat last fall/winter and may have it in about 4 colors! Perfect staple with leggings or jeans.
Make sure you check out all I linked above because I couldn’t fit them all in the picture. The Caslon knit blazer is a great layering piece. I absolutely loved the BB Dakota plaid blazer but worried I wouldn’t wear it enough to justify it. The Rails Military jacket was a splurge, but I just couldn’t say no.
First and foremost, if you don’t have a Barefoot Dreams cardigan you need to snag one right now! I bought my first one three years ago and it’s still as good as new! Second up, Spanx leggings are life! I wore them constantly last winter! You can easily dress them up or pull off more of an athleisure look with them. Last but not least, those leopard joggers… I’ve already worn them two days in a row!
I’ll wear a dress a few times a week in the summer (hello, less laundry) but once the temps start dropping it’s only “special” occasions I’ll be in one. Here are a few to choose from that can have you covered from work to play!
You know how I said you need that Barefoot Dreams Cardigan if you don’t have one? Well, they also make a throw and it’s the one my kids always fight over. I love the new prints with the leopard and camo.
Madison loves the Joe’s Jeans because they still have an adjustable waist. She’s struggling lately with needing length but a tiny waist. The leopard pants were by far her favorite piece she snagged from the sale!
I was happy to see while scouring the boys section both Parker and Jayden picked out pieces that weren’t gym shorts and a tee! What can I say, it’s the little things. LOL Both boys got the robe last year for Christmas and often times wrap up in it at night and fall asleep because it’s so cozy. Jayden loved the Converse for when he has to dress nice, as he says.
I honestly don’t buy Andrew a ton from Nordstrom because his work attire consists of fire retardant jeans and shirts six days a week. I did start buying him the Rails tee shirts a few years ago and he really likes the fit of them! Something else I’m snagging more of for him is the Tommy John underwear. He swears they stay in place.
I first bought the T3 dryer three years ago during the sale and it’s still going strong. I recently bought the curling iron and absolutely love it. My hair will keep the curl for days! I’m still trying to figure out the face mask, but the way I look at it is it’s cheaper than one dose of Botox so possibly it’s worth a shot! A friend got the dry shampoo in a monthly subscription box and absolutely loved it however it’s basically the cost of gold for your hair. This sale is the only shot of giving it a try!
Whew, I’m not even kidding when I say I spent all yesterday afternoon/evening scouring the sale pages for my top picks and started putting everything together at 6am! Hopefully this helps you out so you’re not going through the thousands of items like I did! Happy Shopping and be sure to let me know what your favorite deals were.
