I’m not sure about you, but once the temperature starts heating up I want a nice cool refreshing drink. I’m a wine and beer girl through and through, but if I’m sitting out on the patio or by the pool I’ll gladly take a cool cocktail. This summer raspberry spritzer did just the trick on a hot afternoon, that’s for sure! Mixing with sparkling water is a great way to enjoy an alcoholic beverage, yet still stay hydrated.
I won’t lie to you, it’s been forever since I’ve drunk anything with vodka in it. Honestly, the only reason we had Tito’s in the cupboard was because a friend had brought it once. Another friend introduced me to these AHA Sparkling Waters and I’m a big fan! Just the right amount of flavor and not super sweet. I chose the raspberry açaí flavor for my first summer spritzer and loved it!
Add ice and fresh raspberries to a glass. Pour desired amount of vodka (I went with less than a full shot) and top off with the sparkling water. Make your cup look pretty with a lime slice and enjoy!
You could easily mix this up in a pitcher if you are having a gathering with friends and want to make fewer trips to the kitchen.
Doesn’t that look refreshing? It definitely kept me cool for a bit. There are many different flavors of the AHA Sparkling Water to choose from, but this raspberry is my favorite. Head to the grocery store and grab what you need so you can enjoy it over the weekend!
Cheers to fun summer weekends, and cool raspberry summer spritzer!
