Well, Super Bowl Sunday is almost here and Tom Brady didn’t make it in how many years? Maybe this Steelers fan is a little excited over that. LOL I’m a football girl through and through, but this year I’m really looking forward to the halftime show and some of the best game day snacks. Give this girl a Michelob Ultra and some junk food and she’s all set!
The best game day snacks should be salty and crunchy, right?
Whether you’re thinking about serving dips, chicken wings, chili or snack mix I’ve got a few recipes you’re going to want to try out.
Fire Crackers
If you like something salty with a little kick you need to make these fire crackers! You can adjust the heat, but making them as is even my kids love them. We say these are good beer crackers. If you’re having a hard time finding mini saltines like I am, you can use oyster crackers as a substitute.
He-Man Dip
SWEATSHIRT
My aunt always made this while growing up for all of the parties and family gatherings. It’s such an easy dip to throw together I’ll do it when we need a change from Buffalo Chicken Dip.
All You Need:
1lb of mild italian sausage
1lb of hamburger
2 jars of cheese sauce
1 jar of pace mild salsa
I use my Instant Pot Aura and brown the meat in there first. Dump in the cheese sauce and salsa and you’re all set. Once it’s melted and combined serve it with your favorite tortilla chips.
The Best Quick & Easy Chili
Oddly enough, chili is a pretty popular Super Bowl meal. By making it in the Instant Pot, you don’t have to worry about standing over the stove for a long time preparing and missing the pre-game. 10 minutes in the Instant Pot and you’re ready to enjoy!
Warm Crack Chicken Dip
We haven’t found a crack chicken recipe we don’t like so far. This warm crack chicken dip recipe surely didn’t disappoint either!
Ranch Pretzel Bites
These were super simple to make and I just used the same recipe as my fire crackers shown above. I bought the sourdough pretzel bites. Mix up the seasonings and oil and pour over the pretzel bites. Spread out on a cookie sheet and bake at 250 for 30 min mixing them up frequently. Tasty!
So, which team are you rooting for? I’m honestly good either way it goes over here! Happy munching!
